Oakland, California - GSC Logistics, Inc., an industry leader in the field of Third Party Logistics, has
expanded its presence into the Pacific Northwest, by acquiring Best Way Trucking, Inc., effective
June 1st, 2011. The combined companies will provide services throughout Northern California and
the Pacific Northwest, to include container drayage, cross-dock deconsolidation, transloading,
super-chassis heavy hauling, over the road refrigerated and dry freight transportation, hazardous

“We wanted to expand our services into the Pacific Northwest because that region compliments our
service coverage throughout northern California and Nevada," said Andres Garcia, chairman of the

Seattle and Tacoma, offer our existing customers an opportunity to integrate and leverage our
information systems’ capabilities and robust reporting for their import, export, and domestic supply
chain needs from the California Central Valley through the Canadian border.”
Scott Taylor, CEO and President of GSC added, “Best Way is the perfect fit for our organization.
We have the same values and focus on perfect execution for our customers. We plan on keeping
employees of Best Way on board allowing us to continue providing excellent customer service and
dependability.”

“GSC has a management team with an average of 25 years experience in the field of integrated
logistics and supply chain services,” Garcia continued. “We will draw from each company’s
strengths and expertise to provide all customers in the Seattle/Tacoma region with total
transparency and visibility, alongside superior processes. Our financial strength and stability will
allow for fleet investments and operational assets’ acquisition, to support our customers growing
service and equipment demands throughout the Pacific Northwest.”
“We are excited to join the GSC team,” said Biniam Habte, director of operations for Best Way
Trucking. “Our shared resources will allow us to concentrate on expanding our services to a
national market.”
